The kids and I had made peanut butter and birdseed rolls for the small birds that hang around our yard. However, due to 3 large Ravens, we didn’t get to see any birds even try to eat one. I hung them in the trees and that kept the ravens off them but still no little birds.
Today, Judah called me over and pointed out the door, where we saw a small squirrel eating as fast as can be.
Here is a small movie of the chowdown, while the quality isn’t that good, it’s a lot better than the wife’s since her expensive camera won’t make movies. hehe
I can see now that I am going to have to practice my camera skills since the wife is blowing me out of the water every time we take pics of the same thing. It might be time to accidentally drop her camera again.
[...] Judah was playing by the patio door and noticed that there was finally a visitor at the homemade feeders … our furry and very nosey friend Gonzo. Gonzo has been a visitor here for several years and is incredibly tame. He allowed me to creep up to within several feet of him to take his picture.
